29 countries and 114 competitors are currently registered to compete in this World Championships.
The event is free to spectators and a large viewing are will be set up for front row enjoyment of the competition. Food and Drinks are onsite. Good idea to bring your own chair although some will be available.
Media will have access to interviews, video and photo opportunities with officials and competitors alike.
Interviews are available with passionate skydiving competitors, including the U.S. Parachute Team's defending world champion Curt Bartholomew, reigning national champ Tom Dellibac and multiple world record holder Nicholas Batsch. Oct 25-Nov 1 - Many competitors will already be in town ahead of the competition to train. Spectators are welcome to come and watch anytime between 8am and Sunset.
Nov 1 - Arrival of Delegations and Officials. Most of the countries will be arriving this day and getting settled into the routine of Zephyrhills
Nov 2-3 - Official Practice Day(s) for Competition. Should be fast-paced Swooping happening all day long.
Nov 3 - Practice Day, last day for official check-in, then Opening Ceremonies at 4pm sharp.
Nov 4, 5, 6 - Competition begins at 7am each day, continues to end of day.
Nov 7 - Last Day of Official Competition (if needed) and last takeoff at 4pm.
5-530pm Closing Ceremonies and Awards Presentation.
